“Very reasonably priced in a super convenient location! This hotel is right at the entrance of the French Quarter at Bourbon St, where the action is! Cheaper than some hotels further away. This is an older property, but our room was modern and clean. Only complaint was no towel racks in the bathroom! The staff was friendly and helpful, but the housekeeping didn't leave enough toilet paper, and we had to hassle the housekeeping to get some more. Also, the front desk recommended a ride service to the Amtrak station that turned out to be a ripoff. But overall, we were very happy with this hotel, and would stay there again.”

“Una de las razones por las que eligo la cadena Crowne Plaza es por las amenidades y los servicios que ofrecen los cuales eh comprobado en anteriores reservas de la cadena y uno de los factores por los que decidi hospedarme en el hotel Astor Crowne Plaza de Nueva Orleans fue porque al checar la página de internet, se refieren a que cuentan con una zona tranquila en la cual el ruido es minimo.Al efectuar el check in fui atendido por recepcionista que dijo llamarse Michael antes de otorgarme una habitaciónyo le comenté a el que desdeque efectúe mi reservación en las solicitudes especiales pedí una habitación retirada de elevadores, demotores de ventiladores, extractores ymáquinas de hielo debido a que tengo problemas para conciliar el sueño.El me otorgó una habitación con un ruido ( zumbido ) constante por lo que fui a recepción a cambiar la habitación,Michael me otorgó otra habitación con el mismo problema ( ruido constante de motores de extractores de aire ), una vez más baje a recepción a cambiar de habitaciónyle comenté si había alguien que hablara español con el fin de expresar mejor mis requerimientos pero me comentó que no había nadie que hablara español en el hotel yal momento de darme la llave expreso en un tono grosero "no más cambios" y me comentó que estábamos en el mardi grass tratando de justificar el ruidopero el problema no era el bullicio de la gente si no más bien el ruido interno de sus motores y elevadores además expreso que las buenas habitaciones estaban asignadas para los que compraban directo en la cadena del hotel y no en “EXPEDIA” cómo era mi caso La habitación (519) que me asignó fue lo mismo un ruido constante de elevadoresmi reserva de 5 noches fue un verdadero suplicio para mí, no lo recomiendo en ABSOLUTOOne of the reasons why I choose the Crowne Plaza chain is because of the amenities and services they offer which I check in previous reservations and one of the factors why I decided to stay at the Astor Crowne Plaza hotel in New OrleansIt was because when checking the website, mention that they have a quiet area in which the noise is minimal. When checking in I was treated by a receptionist who said his name was Michael before giving me a room I told him that since I made my reservation in the special requests I requested a room removed from elevators, fan motors, extractors and ice machinesbecause I have trouble falling asleep He gave me a room with a constant noise (humming) so I went to reception to change the room, Michael granted me another room with the same problem (constant noise from exhaust engines), once again I went down to reception toI changed the room and I told him if there was someone who spoke Spanish in order to express my requirements better but he told me that there was no one to speak Spanish in the hotel and at the time of giving me the key expressed in a rude tone "no more changes"and he told me that we were in the mardi grass trying to justify the noise but the problem was not the bustle of the people but rather the internal noise of their engines and elevators also expressed that the good rooms were assigned for those who bought directly inthe hotel chain and not in "EXPEDIA" how was my case The room (519) that was assigned to me was the same a constant noise of elevators my 5 night reservation was a real torture for me, I do not recommend it in ABSOLUTE”
