“My family and I will be checking out tomorrow but I wanted to leave a review since we have had such a great experience. COVID life is stressful for everyone but the staff here is great! We checked in on 2/8 and we’re immediately greeted by the friendly front desk team. It was late and they got us into our room quickly. The room is great and exactly the space we needed for myself, my husband, and our 4yo kiddo. The next morning we were greeted by more friendly staff members when we went down for breakfast. The food is delicious and the lobby is a spacious area to sit without being too close to other guests. My daughter and I also enjoyed the indoor pool and extra towels to grab from the front desk. Overall I would absolutely stay here again. The team is so friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is really good, the room was perfect for us, and everything was so clean too! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Austin!”

“Nora made the difference. I don’t often leave reviews but wanted to make it known how well we were treated by this individual. There wasn’t anything special about the rooms, they were clean and fine, but during a time when good customer service could be left aside due to a pandemic, I genuinely felt like she cared. We were here originally for 2 nights meeting some friends halfway, but when the snow hit we decided to stay another night. I went to the front desk and worked it out. I thought my rate should have been different but we figured out it was my own error. Even after that, she still offered to upgrade us so my 2 year old could have her own bed!
Even wearing a mask I could tell she was smiling and happy to be there. Every interaction with her was pleasant painless! I’ve worked in customer service for 15 years and come to expect good service wherever I go, and Nora & this particular HGI delivered! Thank you!”
