“Once I made the reservation, I was charged by 'AdvancedPurchases'. When I called, they advised that when I checked out, there would be no charge for the room. Guess what?? The hotel itself did charge me. This was in March. It is now October and I am still fighting with the hotel to get a refund. The Manager and the Accounting staff say the amount was refunded. I can show them my cc account and no refund was received. I've spoken to Hilton Corporate and even they keep pointing me back to the hotel staff. All they say is that it was done. No further investigation as to why or how this happened. There are too many other hotels out there. They've lost my business for good.”

“I usually don't do reviews until the end of my stay, but this is far too great of an experience not to share right now. We checked in about 2 am, got settled around 330 and went to sleep on a very comfortable bed. I woke up at 830 and breakfast is over at 9. We made it downstairs in time to have the best breakfast outside of my kitchen.
Ms Williams' grits and eggs needed absolutely nothing. They were seasoned good enough for me to break protocol and review her now. She had great conversation and information about the area. If you're in the Columbia area make sure you stop by during the week and check her out.”
