“I am giving this poor rating because for one particular employee. We stayed the night of 8/15/2021. We were grateful for Hyatt accommodating us last time. We missed our connecting flight from Charlotte to Myrtle beach. We had an awful experience in the airport with American Airlines. We got to the airport at 10:30 and by the time we ate it was close to midnight. I have two year old son and 6 year old son both on the spectrum. Our flight was at 7 am which is only the flight we managed to get for all 4 of us. We woke up the kids at 4:30 to catch the 5 am shuttle which end up missing . My 2 year child was very upset because he didn’t sleep all night. Instead of showing any kindness, the lady at the reception told me to keep my kid quiet because it was hard to hear this in the morning. I told her he doesn’t understand and hasn’t slept. She had no compassion. She proceeded say to me to quiet my kid. We end up standing outside in the hot weather waiting for the shuttle for the airport to come. People at the front desk need to be more kind especially to kids.”

“The hotel is nice, but do NOT rely on the airport shuttle. We were told repeatedly (after 4 separate calls) that it was on its way.We finally gave up and hired a taxi after waiting over an hour.I asked the staff to consider adjusting our bill upon checkout, but they said we will call you and of course never did.They also assessed a standard $50 "damage fee" and said it shouldcome off after a few days )which it did after I inquired about it. The breakfast was adequate,in comparison to most hotels at this time.”
