Hace años que visito este hotel durante mis vacaciones de verano. No lo hay mejor a este precio en todo alrededor, ofrece régimen a media pensión. Tiene una ubicación perfecta si te gusta salir por la noche, a unos pasos de Yumbo y también si te quedas en sus piscina, puedes visitar cafeterías y supermercados alrededor. Está alejado de la playa, pero a mi me gusta caminar para ir, no obstante tienen transporte propio del hotel que te lleva. Las habitaciones son cómodas.LO PEOR: Es un hotel antiguo, muy largo. No tiene aparcamiento.LO MEJOR: La amable atención de todo el personal, la comida es fabulosa y variada. +10. La limpieza es excelente. Accesos medianteescaleras y rampa al hotel y restaurante.

Primero por la amabilidad del servicio y su plena actitud a tu bienestar. Segundo por la ubicación, muy cerca del Yumbo y de las dunas. Tercero por los servicios para el cliente, una buena piscina y servicio de restaurante además de bufett libre. Lo que no me ha gustado es que no está muy reformado y se ve antiguo pero al ser tan grande supongo que el gasto es muy enorme y los precios subirian. Tampoco me ha gustado mucho la calidad del bufett pero si la del restaurante que hay que reservar con un día de antelación.

My wife and I spent a great week in the hotel. We did enjoy every meal we had. No complaints about the food at all. Our room was fine. Plenty of cupboards and drawers. Everything worked as expected and there was plenty of hot water. The wifi worked very well. The housekeeping was pretty efficient too. Our only negative comments concern the toilets. My wife has mobility issues. When using the pool area there are no easily accessable toilets.You have to go down 2 flights of stairs to the pool toilets or go up through the reception and use the lift to get to other toilets. If you have a car it's not easy to park outside the front of the hotel. As theres only space for about 6 cars. If you park on the road behind the hotel there is no back entrance into the hotel for guests. So you have to walk around the block to get in. We would stay again. It's in a great location and the staff are really nice.

Great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are lovely size and location is perfect.
Free bus to and from the beach.

Podría ser un 4 estrellas.Habitaciones grandes, colchones comodos, cambio de sabanas cuando tú lo solicitabas solo poniendo una tarjeta encima de la cama, lo unico malo los baños con bañeraPersonal muy amable, nos cambiaron la habitación por una con vistas a la piscina sin coste adicional cuando tuvieron una libre.Media pensión muy buena aunque en pescado flojo.El comedor tiene espacios para desayunar, cenar más íntimos y refinados que el comedor principal. Los camareros un 10!La piscina es grande, nunca tienes problema de sitio con las hamacas y si quieres una balinesa son gratuitas, con servicio de toallas.La única pega el gimnasio, le falta equipamiento para brazo y pecho.En conclusión repetire!

Lo mejor del hotel es la atención de todo el personal, comenzando por Luján de recepción, Sandra y Sergio en el comedor y cada uno de los empleados que te cruzabas en el hotel. Aunque el hotel no es nuevo, está muy bien. La zona de piscina un poco pequeña para tanta gente que alberga el establecimiento. El desayuno y la comida muy variada y muy bien. Lo único que no me ha gustado es que al estar en la habitación 268, tenía que hacer 100 metros para llegar hasta la recepción, piscina y comedor.

Un sitio espectacular. Muy bien situado, pero, sin lugar a dudas, lo mejor es el personal. Siempre atento a tus necesidades y muy amable.Tampoco podemos olvidarnos de su buffet. Muy completo y variado.Sin lugar a dudas si vuelvo a Gran Canaria será a este hotel.Muy recomendable.

Hotel perfecto para olvidarse de cocinar gracias al desayuno y cena bufete, que son variados y abundantes. Tiene una terraza bar agradable con música en directo nocturna. Está junto al Yumbo, el centro comercial con más fiesta de la zona, principalmente de carácter LGTBI. Personal muy amable y risueño, trato verdaderamente personalizado. Mobiliario algo desfasado, pero el precio es muy asequible.Buenas comunicaciones para ir a la Playa del Inglés , las Palmas y al aeropuerto.Repetimos todos los años

Personal muy amable, la comida bastante buena para la categoria del hotel.No es un hotel barato para ser de tres estrellas.El hotel está muy gastado, necesita renovarse. Ropa de cama muy utilizada, almohadas malas y todas muy blandas, las toallas tampoco son muy buenas.El hotel es tranquilo y agradable para descansar, deberían cuidar este tema de la ropa de cama y almohadas para un mejor descanso.Recomendable si cuidan más estos detalles.

Nos encanta este hotel por su tranquilidad, su comida, pero sobretodo por el trato del personal en comederos y bares, siempre tan atentos y serviciales y con una gran sonrisa.Especial mención a Santana en el Bar Piscina.Se nota que detrás existe un buen equipo y una buena dirección. El hotel no está mal, la comida es buena y hay variedad en el buffet. Sin embargo cada habitación solo tiene un enchufe, lo cual, siendo dobles, ya se te queda corto porque ni dos móviles a la vez puedes poner a cargar.En las cenas, todas las bebidas te las cobran a parte, hasta el agua, y la música que ponen por las tardes noches es un poco anticuadilla.De resto todo bien.

Decepcionados.Esta semana Santa nos dimos una escapada de una sola noche,para intentar descansar y recargar algo las pilas. Para ello habíamos solicitado una habitación tranquila. Conocíamos el hotel de una ocasión anterior, y tanto la comida como las instalaciones nos habían gustado,así que por eso volvimos y somos miembros de Riu Class.Pero que diferente fue todo esta vez,la habitación estaba situada por debajo del nivel de la carretera,con mucho ruido,con "vistas " a un muro agrietado y una palmera seca,tardamos 10 minutos en atravesar un pasillo interminable con 2 tramos de escaleras.Dimos las quejas por teléfono a recepción,la respuesta: estamos llenos no podemos hacer nada ( pero en la página web habían libres). Fuimos personalmente a recepción,nos dieron la llave de una habitación unos pocos números antes,ya cansados llamamos a central de reservas,queríamos irnos y cancelar la reserva.Cuál fue nuestra sorpresa que había surgido una cancelación de una habitación decente.Tras 1'5 h de idas y venidas entramos a nuestra habitación.Imposible descansar desde que amanece,puesto que las cortinas no son opacas.La comida ha bajado mucho en calidad y variedad,horarios súper ajustados y adaptados al turismo.La piscina y jacuzzi sin climatizar,a pesar de que el personal te diga que está a 24°,veías como todos los clientes se quejaban y entraban al agua compungidos.Señores han perdido a 2 clientes y no creo que seamos los únicos.No lo recomiendo,ni volveré.

Nothing to shout about, definitely a budget hotel. Room and dining area dated, entertainment shoddy.My biggest issue was with the dining, small service area for such a busy place. If you wanted water with your meals you had to pay for it which I found unusual, also no courtesy meal if you checked out late, they wanted 20euro per head. (We opted to eat better/cheaper food around the corner)I wasn't expecting the Ritz for the money but it still fell short of the three stars in my opinion. The other Riu hotels in the area looked much nicer. Live and learn.

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the last ten years and never failed to be impressed, however the personal touches do appear to be disappearing. Reception staff are excellent as are the cleaners. Meal services were previously two sittings with a specific table for the duration of the stay, this has now changed so that you can eat from anytime between 630 - 930, the number of waiting staff appear to have reduced this results in lengthy waits for drinks orders to be taken on some occasions. Also dishes are not always available especially pasta - on one occasion I waited about ten minutes for one of the dishes - when I went to eat it it was as cold as if if had been frozen and just thawed.Some nights the salad bar is lacking.

What has happened to this hotel stayed 8 times. Will be last. Staff talk to you like you are a problem and your stupid. They have no time for English guests I guess as we don't tip.Booked double given single room then had to wait a day for room I paid for.Nice pool but that's it here now as staff let this place down.I don't like to be spoken down to when I paying to stay at a hotel

What a dump. I got given a room like a prison cell. The food was just awful. Expedia promised wifi in every room, but that was a lie. No wifi except in reception, which is useless. Then on my last day, being pushed to check out by 11, the electricity went off in my room. I was clear I wasn’t going to leave until I was able to have a shower, but 45 minutes later they were just useless. Nothing happened. I asked if I could have another room to shower in. They said no. Reception staff were rude, useless and could not have cared less.Please never stay here, you’re better than that.

Somewhat cheaper place in Playa del Ingles and that is to be seen. All in all a fine place to stay but if you want more luxury I'd look some place else. The food is fine, nothing too special or too much choice but it's ok. Don't go for the chicken because that is over cooked but I guess that's the case for all buffets ;) Staff overall is quite friendly but not too helpful all the time. We forgot some items in our room after check out and when we went back to check, it was gone. The simple answer we got from the lady at the reception is that the room hadn't been cleaned yet so that wasn't possible, no room for discussion or anything, she wouldn't budge. 15 minutes later however (we were waiting for our transfer) she came out, holding our stuff that indeed housekeeping took it earlier...

This hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean, most staff are nice. We had 2 occasions where a member of staff was rude.Not through the hotels fault but a lot of the guests are rude too.Being the first time we stayed in an adult only hotel and not having kids ourselves we found it was too quiet for us so wouldn’t stay here or any adult hotel again.The food was ok, a lot choice. Other than that we enjoyed our holiday.Very close to yumbo centre which that’s really what we came for.

Le pongo dos estrellas porque no me ha gustado algunas cosas de este hotel , lo único que le pongo 10 es a la limpieza y la piscina donde es todo bastante genial. En primer lugar quiero decir que según hice mi reserva nos dijeron que era media pensión cuando llegamos allí no estaban incluidas las bebidas con lo cual , cuando nos fuimos tuvimos que pagar 35€ adicionales en bebidas, en ningún momento en la documentación aportada en la reserva dice que era sin bebidas, por otra parte en cuanto a las cenas y el desayuno he decir que el producto era de baja calidad como por ejemplo la fruta que tenía un sabor muy insípido , algunos congelados de bolsa y pescado de mala calidad en caso del zumo del desayuno los zumos algunos eran de tarros o polvos.Lo único que para mi estaba más bueno fueron el mojo picón y algunos postres. Por otro lugar he decir que no llega Wi-fi a las habitaciones con lo cual tienes que ir a la recepción para poder conectarte , por otro lugar el personal de recepción en general es poco amable y solo un chico se porto bien. En cuanto a los camareros igual poco amables en general exceptuando algunos. Por otro lugar varías veces el agua del baño salía turbia. Si no fuera ocurrido esto le pondría una puntuación de cuatro estrellas pero debido a todo esto y que el hotel necesita un arreglo pongo dos estrellas.

Me faltan palabras para describir lo agusto que hemos estado, creo que con decir que hay clientes que repiten año tras año después de 20 de su primera vez lo dice todo. Lo mejor es que pruebes y te sorprendas del ambiente que se respira en el comedor, terraza, piscina, etc. Es un 5 estrellas camuflado, y que no necesita serlo, yo volveré el año que viene y todos los que pueda.

Decir de este hotel que lo hemos visitado este fin de semana, era ya conocido por nosotros antes de que fuera solo para adultos, el hotel está muy bien ubicado han realizado unas reformas en zonade piscinas y decoraciónen l habitación,pero necesita una reforma en general, indicar que la casualidad tuvimos cucarachas en el baño ( una ) y nos cambiaron de habitación,al día siguiente se lo cometamos a la directora que la que nos cambiaron a las 11:30 de la noche era demasiado ruidosa ya que daba para la zona de maquinaria y no pudimos pegar ojo, destacar la amabilidad y disposiciónde la directora para buscar una solución, nos cambio a otrasin ningúnproblema.Destacar la atención del personal y comida tipo bufet normal, en este aspecto han bajado bastante la variedad.En un principiopor lo que pagamos considero que existen hotelesmejores, no creo que volvamosDestacabletodo el personal siempreatentos y con una sonrisa

Nos ha encantado el hotel 🏨tanto por sus comodidades,la zona en la que se encuentra y sobre todo por el trato de la gente del hotel 🏨!!! Lo unico que remercaria es que los horarios de piscina terminan muy pronto por la tarde y las cenas empiezan pronto!!Por el resto todo perfecto: buen. Buffet,comida variada,seccion vegetariana (lo mejor de lo mejor para mi), personsl atento,espectaculos,etc.Y como decia uno de los camareros : " bolleria,bolleria… yo te como todos los dias" 😂

El hotel es bastante regulero. Tiene una distribución de las habitaciones bastante mala, ya que hay habitaciones que para acceder tienes que recorrer todo el edificio (como ha sido nuestro caso). La atención del personal ha sido buena, principalmente en el comedor y la limpieza, aunque en recepción nos atendieron con contestaciones poco agradables. En cuanto a la comida, no es nada buena ya que por sabor y calidad merece la pena comer en otros sitios (sin atarte al horario de la cena del hotel, cuya entrada es de 20:30 a 21:00).

Very nice hotel. Rooms spacious and very clean. Food is excellent and always hot. Staff arr fantastic and can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend the hotel.It's a little bit out of the way of the main resorts but a quick taxi ride for less than 5 euros to the beach

Hotel with just 3 stars but staff were service minded. The room was nice and toilet was clean, shower also was good. But internet access was very very bad, not accessible in room and not in pool and neither lounge bar outside(just few meter from reception), only worked in reception area(there with very good speed about 30mbit/s both down and uploads).

This hotel is rated as a 3 star hotel but I would rate it as a 4 star! The food quality and choice half board is excellent. Rooms and towel cleaned very well daily. Hotel extremely well managed, poolside cleaned daily and poolside provided towels can be exchanged daily. Slight downside is the food and drinks at the poolside bar are quite highly priced. However all staff are extremely polite. We had 14 days here and absolutely loved it.

We stayed for a week loved it as it was a adults only just what we needed. The rooms was bigger than I thought and very clean and tidy. The hotel was fantastic and the location was just was we wanted.the staff was very helpful and friendly and the service was really good. I would like return to this hotel as it was fantastic didn't have to fight for a sunbed that was a first normally you need to be up and towels on before breakfast but not her. Breakfast was just what you need in a morning from a cooked to fresh fruit and cheese and all different meats. Evening meals was fantastic always a fantastic choice of meats and vegetables to salads to sweet little cakes. Love a Rui hotel 👍👍👍

I really recommend this hotel! My parents went there before and they were totally thrilled. The hotel is a 18+ hotel, so there are no kids or teens. The staff is kind and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The buffet has a lot to offer, there is something for everyone, fresh juices, vegetables, meat, fish etc. and the cooks are preparing the food in front of you.

This hotel has a racialism and aggressive manager. When you talk with her with no unfriendly words, she would still point at you and remind you of your education. By the way, she is multi standard. If she says something ist not allowed. Then you will definitely find that happens overall in the hotel, only you are forbidden to do that. And if you ask her why, she would say “I’m the manager, I decide.” That’s the original sentence from her. And that’s the most unbelievable sentence that I have ever heard personally from a hotel manager. If you are Asien, you could really be the one who she treats in this way. By the way, in this hotel free WiFi is only in the reception area, if you want to to use it in your room, you must buy another account. I got one room with not fixed bed, bedsheets with holes and small bathtub with destroyed surface. About the dinner you couldn’t really expect for a lot. Cuz the fact is simple, a lot but none really fresh.

Location is spot on for wanting peaceful and a bit of night life and convenient for travelling around the island. The room we stayed in my small, smaller than some city hotel rooms we have stayed in in Europe. The hotel is very clean though so wins points there and the staff are very attentive so service is good. I would stay here again if I had to but would probably stay elsewhere on the island to see more but defiantly wpuld recommend Riu

Rooms are ok, nothing fancy. The breakfast and dinner buffé were ridiculously big with very much to choose from. Proximity to nearby roads so the balconies can be very noisy, however the pool is a bit closed off and more relaxing. Kids not allowed so the clientele is mostly older, say 50+. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel is very long and our room was a fairly long walk from the reception.

Although this hotel is 3 star rated,due to it's recent refurbishment,it looks and feels more like a 4 star plus. It has an excellent pool area,with towels provided,and a well equipped basement gym. The breakfast and two sitting dinner have a vast choice of dishes, with chef's cooking and carving before your eyes. Varied menusplus a separate a la carte restaurant give plenty of choice. The bedrooms are excellent well decorated in a modern style and very comfortable. Waiters in the restaurant and outside bar area, are very attentive, and friendly. There is nightly entertainment in the outside bar area,which also has an indoor cocktail bar. You may dance on the tiled dancefloor if the mood takes you. All the staff greet you and all are very helpful and happy. The rooms have modern secure safes for hire at a reasonable cost. In all an excellent value hotel, well run and maintained , our forth visit.Recommended RIU property.

Buena ubicación y muy buen servicio, el personal se esfuerza increíblemente para que estés a gusto, y siempre con una sonrisa, ya solo por eso vale la pena volver. La comida está bastante bien y las instalaciones son modernas, está recientemente reformado. Quizá el mobiliario de las habitaciones necesita un repaso pero para mi está bien. El Yumbo está a 1 minuto andando, así que si quieres salir por la noche a tomar una copa no necesitas ni coger el coche.

The hotel is big, but rather poorly designed. If you get the wrong room you can seriously walk for 5 minutes (with stairs and whatnot) from the reception to your door.The swimming-pool is nice, and usually there are enough beds for everyone.The breakfast and dinner-buffet are very good: very large variety of food with continuous re-fill of empty trays during the allocated dinner time.The room was nice, but it smelled a lot like smoke (despite being a non-smoking hotel).

Nice hotel, clean and well managed. Plenty of sun loungers available and not the usual fight for one. The rooms are adequate and clean with a reasonably nice decor. Staff are always on hand to assist and fetch anything you require. Nothing is too much trouble for the waiting staff. The food is excellent with a wide variety to suit all tastes. The al la cart restaurant is reservation only so book in advance. We did and we was not disappointed. The only let down is the entertainment, all though ok it's more catered for the older generation. No disco but plenty to do around the area if you fancy venturing out. All in all this is so much better thanthe 3 stars it currently has.

We stayed at Don Miguel April 11-18 2016 ,love this hotel could not understandwhy it was only 3 star .Everything clean and well presented ,staffalways polite and helpful (also welldressed).We did have a bit of a walk to room but not a problem forus,.but they did offer to move us if we wanted.Pool area lovely, nice to have just enoughbackground music .We had our meals in the outside dining area which was very nice ,a bit cooler.Good food plenty of variety.Nice walk down to beach after dinner (about 20 mins) plenty of entertainment in and around hotel. Room lovely huge beds air conceiling fan and fridge ,we did take a kettle.Sure we will return.

If your looking for a place to relax and enjoy the sun this is the place to stay. All the staff are great especially the bar staff always friendly. It's only a couple of minutes walk to the yumbo centre with all its shops bars and restaurants and 15 minutes walk to the beach .

Every morning at 6am woken by delivery, and refuse trucks, as well as staff outside smoking and talking.Pity about this and one of my worst holidays in respect of the number of smokers at the hotel. No kids allowed. Gusts are mostly elderly and hat couples. The pool area is a bit small, but we'll kept. Location is great with Yumbo across the street. Rooms are nice and cleaning is great. The breakfast buffet offers a big assortment of European breakfast foods. Maybe a bit lacking for us vegetarians.

Pool needs to be heated , better Wi-Fi connection not just in reception. Stop allowing people putting towels on bed round the pool then clear off to have breakfast. Food excellent, staff very helpful, polite and always smiling . This is our second visit to this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Nada que destacar en cuanto a la habitación, todo muy estándar y el precio durante el pride por las nubes. Sin embargo, muy útil la media pensión y bastante bien la piscina y los precios del bar.
