“Probably the best hotel in Selma. The rooms, while not super roomy, were clean & had nice decor. In our room (1 king), there’s a pocket door to the bathroom with a tub shower. My favorite is the courtyard in the center of the hotel & the balcony with a view of the Edmund Pettus bridge. There are chairs & a bistro table on the balcony to enjoy the view. There’s a Keurig, a safe, but no mini fridge or microwave. As of this writing (Sept 2022) the restaurant inside is only bar food (wings, dips, a cheeseburger) & only a continental breakfast. The staff (very nice) said a full menu is in the works so if that’s important to you, I would ask on the status. We stayed on a Fri night & I couldn’t hear inside or outside noises. Hope this is helpful.”

“Great location and great staff. We love historical hotels and this one did not disappoint. They modern updates to the rooms are well done and the middle courtyard is nicely done, along with the outside courtyard area along the bank of the river. There were just a couple of things that are so small, I won’t even mention them…overall it was a great experience that I would recommend.”
