The Ivens Hotel, Lisbon
The Ivens Hotel
The Ivens Hotel was home to the first luxury warehouse in the city in the XIX century as well as of the first Portuguese public. The iconic building is in every way representative of the XIX century, a period which has marked the spirit and culture of Lisbon. The hotel has 87 unique and comfortable rooms, of which ten are spacious suites including two signature top floor suites. The entrance was mapped to resemble the journey of Ivens and Capelo, two of greatest Portuguese explorers to unveil Africa back on the XIX century. The hotel holds three cinematic dining areas designed by Lázaro Rosa Violan who offer a journey through Italian cuisine, al fresco dining and a "Barra" area.

“This hotel is a must in Lisbon. I was lucky to be one of the firsts guests to ever stay there and I was so happy I did. The service is incredible, the decor and rooms are beautiful, the location is literally THE BEST in Lisbon, and not to mention the delicious exclusive jo Malone smell that’s sprayed all over the hotel. I was delighted to smell it every time I arrived.
Also, we had breakfast included with our reservation and it was AMAZING! I 100% recommend this place, even if it’s just to try out their bar or one of the restaurants. Shout out to Mariana and the team for making us feel like we were at home during our stay! I won’t stay any other place on my next visit to Lisbon.”
