“I am having a hard time deciding on a rating for the Ritz Carlton. First of all, location and team are 5/5. The views you get are stunning. The service was attentive and the team tried to implement my every request (I even received another room after asking for it for simply wanting another view). Service was undoubtedly one of the best I have ever had. Was on a business trip, so I wasn't able to enjoy most of the services of the hotel apart from the pool with the spectacular pool. What somehow got the rating down for me are two things: 1) the huge rooms felt a little outdated in the interior design and one could argue that a do over to a more modern design could help (but that most likely depends on the philosophy of the hotel). All in all the price did not feel right for what I received (although the attentive staff and stunning views), compared to other hotels in the area. 2) my second room and large traces of mould in the shower which should not happen in a hotel of that reputation and ambition. It was clearly visible that they tried to unsuccessfully clean it and in my opinion they should not rent the room until this is fixed. After mentioning it to the reception, I was directly offered another room (another proof of great service), which I declined as it was late on my last night anyways. Typically, the mold thing would lead me to a 1 star rating but that would not serve justice to the location and the team. Maybe I have better luck on my next stay.”

“Second time staying here. Excellent service like usual. One day we were having breakfast and a staff named Simone totally surprised us with his amazing service. My wife loved the latte print they had there and want to try different cute prints. Simone keep going back and forth to make us cut latte print. His passion for serving the customers was definitely highlight of this trip. We still remember the breakfast at Ritz.”
