“Beach side resort in a quiet location on the north west shore of Mauritius. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Resort ambience is excellent. Bedrooms are spacious and facing the beach. Depending on the bedroom location it can be a bit of a walk to get to the main dining areas and reception. Buffet has a wide variety but the items were repeated. Ala Carte orders resulted in being served recycled food and service was also not upto a global luxury hotel standard. The friendly serving staff more than made up for lapses on the food front. The location of the hotel is difficult for guests intending to see the islands tourist attractions. The resort is better suited to guests who intend to stay in the resort and enjoy rest and relaxation and the resort facilities - swimming pools, gym, beach, water sport activities, etc which are more than enough to compensate for the distance and time it takes to visit outside attractions.”
