“Me diverti muito, todas as pessoas são muito amigáveis, disseram oi para você e conversaram com você a semana toda é o único para a Enseada, teria sido ainda melhor”
— Frank Mitch
“I read a few reviews where guests said they did not get the room they booked.I called my travel agent who eased my mind saying it is extremely rare that a resort does not follow through with accommodating your confirmed reservation. It is not rare here as we met three other couples that did not get the premium room they booked and were going through the same hassles of moving rooms and hunting down their own services. Our reservation was even confirmed over a year in advance. When we were checked in they did not even tell us we weren't getting the room we booked. We were escorted to our room as if everything fine. We booked a Diamond Club room with a swim out pool. Our swim out pool view was of a few trees and people walking around. We were supposed to have a sea view. When we returned to the lobby we were told our room was over booked and the soonest we could get it would be on the 4th day of our one week stay. They did offer us a romantic dinner in exchange but if we wanted a romantic dinner we would have booked one. They did also say we could have the butler service and diamond club ammenities (daily stocked fridge, robe, slippers, etc) in our standard room until we were moved. This did not happen and will not happen if they tell you that. When you text the butler services you must give your last name and room number. Our room number was not in building 1 (the diamond club building) so no one would respond. When I stopped to ask a butler what was happening he verified our room was not in building 1 and also let us know that since we were not in building 1 none of the butlers were assigned to our room number. The staff that stock the refrigerators let us know ours wasn't being stocked daily since we weren't in building 1.So if you don't care whether or not you get the room/services you booked and are willing to spend a few days going back and forth to the lobby, finding a butler, finding a room cleaning supervisor (to get your robe/slippers), finding someone to stock your fridge, packing up to move rooms, etc.. then this won't bother you.Since we met other guests in the same situation I believe this is Royalton's policy to over book so we will not use any Royalton Resort in the future.Another note:The hot tub is shut off at 6 PM every day (yes on the adult side) and none of the back jets work on any of the resort hot tubs.So you can't relax in the hot tub with a drink in the evening. We kept asking about it and staff told us they would notify maintenance,We finally asked the lobby staff and were told it's on a timer to be shut off daily at 6PM.It is also true there's really nothing to do here in the late evening so the hot tub would have been a nice activity.”
