“Great new hotel north of the hotel zone. Have been 2x now since the opening a year or so ago, and whatever hiccups they had at the grand opening have been ironed out. Service is just like the other Riu Palaces, food quality very much the same from our other Riu Palace visits. Beach is the big draw here — great sand and lots of shoreline. Didn’t seem crowded at all during either of our 2019 vacations here. Our boys really love the coffee bar area with their milkshakes...outstanding. Nothing but good things to say about this Riu. Highly recommended if you want a truly 4.5 star all-inclusive vacay in Cancun.”
