Visited Madrid to attend IE University and the hotel was a pleasure to be in. The front desk are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was really good. The room was spacious and the bathroom was amazing; big and a great shower too. Breakfast was good, lots of choices and the coffee was excellent.

WOW, great modern room with an oversized King bed. Clean, and extremely friendly staff. About 20 minutes in bus or train to the center of Madrid but you won't pay the price for staying there.

We loved our stay there! Good location, nice staff, very clean rooms. The bed was huuuuge and super comfy. The highlight was the bathroom with shower and a bathtub and toiletries from Rituals. The only suggestion for improvement would be to have more lights in the room. Because the windows pointed to the inner yard, there was not much natural light. And the lights in the room were just not enough.

Bem localizado, perto das principais avenidas de Madri, restaurantes a poucos minutos à pé , pequeno almoço agradável, pessoal atencioso. Apenas os quartos poderiam ser maiores.

Eu sempre gostei dessa cadeia de hotéis. O Barceló Emperatriz está bem localizado, embora não esteja no centro. A decoração é feita com grande prazer, tanto no átrio como nos quartos. Na chegada me foi dado um quarto no primeiro andar de frente para a rua. Eu pedi uma sala mais silenciosa e mudei para o sétimo andar da sala que você pode ver nas fotos. O que eu gosto nesse hotel é que eles são muito atenciosos e agradáveis. É um prazer passar alguns dias aqui

É um hotel de luxo com um serviço brilhante e, além disso, é o melhor lugar para conferências. A sala tem todas as conveniências. No caso de precisar de alguma coisa, devo apenas informar-me e tudo o que for necessário estará no meu quarto. Fico feliz em ficar aqui como é calmo e pacífico. Sinto-me um pouco solitário em um quarto tão grande e posso sair a qualquer momento e apreciar a divina Madri. Então ... Aprovado, Barcelo Emperatriz))

Caro, obviamente. Pagas el sitio y el estar cerca de todas partes. No obstante, se nota la calidad en cada uno de los detalles. El poder salir del hotel y encontrarte en plena Milla de Oro es algo realmente delicioso y de agradecer. Habitaciones espaciosas y limpias, personal educado que está siempre atento a tus necesidades. Un auténtico lujo en el corazón de Madrid.

Caro, obviamente. Você paga pelo site e por estar perto de todos os lugares. No entanto, você pode ver a qualidade em cada um dos detalhes. Poder sair do hotel e se encontrar no meio da Golden Mile é algo realmente delicioso e para ser apreciado. Quartos amplos e limpos, funcionários educados e sempre atentos às suas necessidades. Um verdadeiro luxo no coração de Madrid.

Inmejorable. Personal súper amable y habitación impecable. Nos sorprendieron con unos sombreros de paja sobre la cama y nos hizo mucha ilusión. También nos dejaron una tarta de cumpleaños para celebrar un aniversario. No tenemos ninguna queja. Queremos dar las gracias a uno de los camareros del restaurante que fue especialmente amable con nosotros :) (no recordamos bien el nombre, pero tiene barba hahaha) Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable, si volvemos a Madrid repetimos seguro.

Rooms are small and basic. What i really dislike is the fake marble stuff in the bathroom. If real marble is too expensive, please stop pretending to be luxurious. Also we got a room on the first floor, so I heared way to much sound coming from the castellana (busy street). Would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed two nights. Pros: there are rooms available with spa tubs and huge terraces. The bed is huge and comfortable. But surprisingly not as much as you might think. The restaurant is very good for a hotel restaurant. I was very tired and getting over a cold and ate there both nights. cons. Service is pretty disorganized. I asked to have the room service tray removed (which they tell you to do) and three hours later it was still there. When I called about that, the woman I spoke with was apologetic, and someone came right away, so that was great. But I also asked about a slightly later checkout. She asked me to come to the desk, which I did. She said it was no problem. Regular Check out time came, and my room key didn’t work. The concierge fixed this, saying there was no trouble with my late checkout, I shouldn’t worry, it was just that the key had been assigned at checkin. Well but why wasn’t this changed? Whatever. I went to my room to pack. The front desk called. They treated me as though I had done something wrong, did not believe I had made the request. I hurried through my packing because who even knew what was going on . I went downstairs. They were hugely condescending about the situation and went over my bill with far more care than was really necessary, as though I might try to cheat them. It was unpleasant. When this was over, I was offered a “discount” on future stays - it was a sales pitch at check out. The whole thing just felt extremely tacky. I liked many things about this place but there are other options and I wouldn’t do it again.

We loved this hotel. Very clean and well kept, and the room and bathroom was a good size. Bed was super comfy too. The area was also great. Even though it’s in the city, and close walking distance to things- it’s also nice that it’s quiet and on a quiet side street. It was great to have a quiet and classy hotel to come home to after a busy noisy day.

Siempre me ha gustado esa cadena de hoteles. El Barceló Emperatriz está bien ubicado aunque no esté en el centro. La decoración está hecha con mucho gusto, tanto en el lobby que en las habitaciones. Al llegar me dieron una habitación en la primera planta que daba a la calle. He pedido una habitación más tranquila y me han mudado a la séptima planta en la habitación que podéis ver en las fotografías. Lo que me gusta en ese hotel es que son muy atentos y agradables. Es un placer pasar unos días aquí

After 3 trips to Madrid on the last 18 months I felt compelled to write this review. This hotel is excellent. Rooms are comfortable clean and functional. The service is EXCELLENT. I think it has been improving from my last trip. The terrace is a nice place to hangout finally the breakfast is a must to have. If you love food as I do you are not going to be desapointed.

It is a luxurious hotel with a brilliant service and moreover it is the best place for conferences. The room has all conveniences. In case I need anything,I should just let smb know and all required will be in my room. I am happy to stay here as it's calm and peaceful. I feel a bit lonely in such a big room and I may go out at any time and enjoy sight of divine Madrid. So...Approved, Barcelo Emperatriz ))
